Experience Matters, an agency that fosters meaningful work and service opportunities for experienced people in the second half of life, has been a client of Marketing Press for over a year now. Originally, Marketing Press was hired for WordPress maintenance and updates to their original site (that was developed by a WordPress freelancer.) After a certain point of constant updates and fixes, we determined it was time to start from scratch and develop a WordPress site that works at meeting their agency’s goals.
WordPress Portfolio: Services Provided – WordPress Development / Content Strategy
From the very start, Marketing Press set out to design something that was totally different from the previous site. We spent a lot of time and content focusing on Experience Matters’ mission and their various programs. Experience Matters, as an agency, is a valuable asset to the community and stimulating and enhancing participation is the key to everything.
With a home page video that illustrates Who We Are to a portal for users to tell their own Experience Matters story, using Gravity Forms, the new site is interactive and keeps the community informed of new events and community related workshops.
The site is also a mechanism to attract volunteers and expand their database of their volunteer’s expertise. In a conscious effort to reduce the costs of data management, the new Experience Matters site links their ‘Share Your Talent‘ contact form to their CRM (Sales Force), which eliminates extra labor cost with data entry.
Overall, the Experience Matters team was amazing to work with. They are a non-profit agency that knows where they want to go which, made this project easier for Marketing Press’ WordPress Development Team to build a site that is functional and easy for them to use. Marketing Press is excited to add this great site to our WordPress portfolio.
